We had a pottery water filter for 35 years and it was time to upgrade! I chose this one because it was compact for our small kitchen but still was a reasonable volume of water. It was easy to set up and we managed to position the tap so that my husband could easily use it with his injured thumb. The water is beautiful and I am drinking much more. No metallic taste and knowing it has no fluoride is so comforting. We love this filter. The only better option would be to put a filter on mains but unfortunately it is not possible at this point. I did a fair bit of research and one of the competing jugs isn't available in Australia. This was pretty much on par. It's been great. Definitely go with the extra filters.

I want to get a home filtration system but that costs a lot of money so in the meantime I bought the Earth filter jug ... the only thing I wish I had done was buy it sooner. We have increased our water intake now that it tastes so fresh and free from chemicals. So happy and would recommend.

I have an old house with copper piping, so between that and the harshness of what’s in the water is terrible. But now the water feels super clean (weird i know). It’s helping keep my skin clear and keeping all the **** in our water off my skin whilst saving me another shower head !
